About the plugin:
The WordPress plugin enables you to easily browse and search your PhotoShelter Library and embed supported files to any page or post on your WordPress site. PhotoShelter customers can copy files to their WordPress media Library or browse their Brands Library within the WordPress page editor and embed files directly into pages and posts. Plus, metadata automatically imports from PhotoShelter and can be edited without affecting anything in your PhotoShelter Library.
To use the PhotoShelter Importer plugin for WordPress, you will need to create a new user with a unique email address and password (one that is not already in use with PhotoShelter). This will serve as your integrations account and allow everyone in your WordPress environment to access your organization’s Library without impacting your login limit.
Next, you will need to contact our support team to purchase the plugin and obtain an API key.
- In the WordPress plugin directory, search for "PhotoShelter" and install the "PhotoShelter Importer." Once installed, click "Activate."
- When the plugin has been installed and activated, you will need to go to Settings > PS Importer Settings to connect your PhotoShelter Library.
Enter the API key sent to you by Customer Support when you purchased the plugin. Once the API key has been saved, you will need to authorize access to your Library.
When you are redirected to photoshelter.com, ensure that you are signed into the integrations account that you set up for this plugin, then complete the authorization as directed.
Finally, you will need to enter your PhotoShelter Organization ID to ensure that your Library is accessible. This can be found in your PhotoShelter account under Admin > Account Settings.
